Eduardo Olarte (Seville, 1962) is a founding partner of León Olarte Abogados and a leading legal figure in the international business sector, with a specialization in Mining Law. He holds a Law degree from the University of Barcelona and advanced postgraduate training in Private International Law, Banking Law, and European Union Law from EADA Business School (Barcelona) and London University.

He began his career in London at the law firm Barlow, Lyde & Gilbert, advising on maritime and commercial disputes for major insurers and logistics operators. He then joined the firm Elzaburu (Madrid), where he focused on intellectual property and technology litigation for major international corporations.

Since co-founding León Olarte Abogados in 1997, Eduardo has led complex legal operations for large-scale mining projects. Among his most notable achievements are the reopening and launch of production at the Aguas Teñidas Mine (MATSA) and the former Riotinto Mine (EMED TARTESSUS), where he coordinated permit approvals and contractual structures, facilitating the reactivation of mining operations and contributing to the design of a comprehensive legal framework for technical, environmental, financial, and corporate development.
